While i know my way around a cutting board and a knife. Sometimes you just need to speed up the process and have it look good at the same time. I love that there are 5 different cutter types, including 2 thickness slicers. Had no issues shredding cabbage, cutting sweet potatoes you name it. Really speeds up meal prep and i can even delegate some tasks to the kids.

This is an amazing product for large families that have to prepare large amounts of food on a regular basis. It is easy to clean and use and is powerful enough to grate block cheese as well as lettuce, cabbage, carrots, celery and all manner of vegetables. I really like the machine and highly recommend it.

Have been looking for years for a veggie cutter -- that will also grate and slice cheese -- that is small enough to sit on my counter so it doesn't need to be pulled out and assembled every time I'd like to slice or grate something AND that doesn't require a ton of cleanup of multiple parts afterwards (ugh!). This machine is perfect. The posting now says 250 watts; however, when I ordered it was only 150 watts and that's what I received. My 150-watt machine has handled broccoli, soft and hard cheeses, carrots, and other veggies very well. I'm very pleased with this appliance; especially in regard to its footprint on my counter, with it being about 4 1/2-inches wide and 6-inches front to back without the feeding tool and 9-inches front to back with the tool in place. I keep the feeding tool and the stacking cones in a drawer that's right beneath my appliance counter...works super well and the slicer/grater is only taking up a tiny amount of counter space. I do find the machine to be a bit loud while using, but after looking for something that can do what this does, I'm fine with that.One more thing to add: I did attach some non-skid feet, just those little rubber dots, to the bottom so it wasn't slippy-slidey while working with it; the machine is narrow enough and light enough that I can pick it up one handed and move it around so the lack of being able to easily slide it around when that would be convenient works for me.

This versatile slicer and grater is a great addition to any kitchen, with its compact design making it perfect for small counters. This is a cheese and salad slicer/grater that comes with five blades. The blades are rotated against the food, grating and slicing it.My main complaint is the thick slicer is pretty thin. I wanted to use it to slice a pickle into individual slices, but they were very thin, and some of them got stuck between the blade and the shield, so I had to disassemble it to remove the pieces. I deducted a star because of this.The instructions were a little confusing, but I was able to figure it out. To remove a blade, there is a little black nib at the end of the assembly. Lift it up and turn it 180 degrees, then the blade will slip out. Do the opposite to install a new blade in the assembly. To install the assembly in the machine, insert it at about the 2-3 o'clock position, then turn it counterclockwise until it is vertical. Then, to slice or grate food, insert it in the chute and press down on the food using the plunger while pressing the button on top of the machine. Easy peasy.

Easy to use, super easy to clean. Ive put cheese, onion, and broccoli through different blades. My only complaint is that it needs to have a suction cup type bottom. It slides all over as the bottom is just plastic.

I was so looking forward to using this. However, it was a huge disappointment. It made terrible sounds. And I had to keep pushing so hard that it kept shutting off. Totally doesn't work. Bound for the trash.
