After assembling to my drill and testing it on a thin piece of sheet metal the cutter managed to cut about 4” before the drive gear started jumping out of gear and skipping. Junk. No way to tighten the engagement

Maybe for thinner material this might actually work but I had to put a lot of force behind it to even get it to cut through the barn tin I was trying to cut. Because I was pushing on my drill hard it bent the bar that's supposed to stabilize the cutting tool. I'm a girl I shouldn't be able to push it hard enough to bend that bar. I ended up buying one that cuts a thin strip out of it and that works so much better. If you're looking for a cutter that you're going to use a lot don't waste your time with this one

Appears to be a used, returned item. Some type of oil on the tool. No packaging.Turning it by hand, the gears don't seem to mesh properly.I'll know more when I use it.Tried it out on corrugated roofing. Cut maybe 3", then completely useless.Don't buy
