The walnut one arrived just as described and looks great. It added a little bit of sophistication to the HomePod and does a great job concealing most of the power cord!

I couldn’t find anything else on the market that did this. Looks great on our kitchen counter and doesn’t vibrate when music is turned up. Apple really should offer shorter cord lengths.

The sound it makes when watching TV with loud sound effects causes a squeaking noise from the base and the base is hallow with thin wood like a little thicker than veneer. Overall looks amazing but will be returning because the sound is not great. I used the rubber sticky pads it came with too and it still did not damper the noise.

This is a simple item and a great way to hide the extra cord and keep a clean look. I looked for shorter aftermarket HomePod 2 cables and could not find any. This is a great alternate option.
