Amazon needs to update application info for this funnel. The site "fitment" information says "does not fit 2025 Toyota Tundra"when in fact, it does. Not sure how the Amazon system gets their data updates but this should be corrected. The item itself is a good quality part and will help DIY'ers with oil changes.

Used this on my 2017 Tacoma. Fit the engine perfectly when ready to refill with oil after changing it. No mess and it screws in so no spillage out of the funnel when done. Just leave it screwed in and let it drain into the engine. Works great and much needed addition to my oil changing experience.

I've been changing my oil myself for years. Recently I read about this on a 4Runner forum so I got it for my 5th gen. Wow, where have I been? This makes oil changes much easier and less messy. I'd been using a normal funnel which worked, but this is light years ahead. Remove the oil filler cap, gently screw this in and the spills are gone. Whether it's a quart or a 5 gallon jug, you can easily pour the oil in without worry of spilling it. Definitely worth the investment.

I got the filter wrench and passed on getting this because Amazon said it wasn't compatible with my car (2018 Rav4) though the product description said it was and the other versions obviously were not. I looked it over carefly and finally got it anyway and am glad I did. It is genius. It screws in just like the oil cap would so there is no opportunity for oil to backwash up or spill and get on the engine, it sits straight up and is hands free. It it very solidly made and the clear neck let's you monitor the flow into the engine. It was a bit of an investment over dollar store funnels but worth every penny. I would also recommend the filter wrench too it is rock solid.

Right out of the box I was very concerned that the funnel portion would crack when joining the funnel to the sight tube, as it became extremely difficult to fully secure the two pieces together. I screwed the two pieces as much as I dared, never fully seating them together, then storing the funnel until I recently had occasion to use the Motivx Oil Funnel for the first time on my 2011 Tundra. I sat the partially joined funnel aside (IN THE SUN) while I drained oil from my truck, and changed the filter. The sun's rays must have rearranged the funnel's plastic molecules. When I was ready to add fresh oil to my Tundra I found that the sun had made the funnel very easy to fully join to the sight tube. The Motivx Oil Funnel performed exactly as described! No more slowly pouring in each quart while hoping not to spill any, just turn a quart up into the funnel, and break open the next quart. What a time saver! And no more spilling oil which can cause one to wonder if the valve cover gaskets are leaking. I would and I do recommend this product to the Do It Yourselfers out there. I was so impressed that I went to Motivxtools.com and purchased the adaptor to use with the Motivx Oil Filter on my 2004 Sienna, which has a twist type instead of a screw type oil cap.

Is this a pretty funnel? Yes. If a funnel can indeed be 'pretty'.Is this a premium quality funnel? Yes. Absolutely. It feels and performs as such.Does it make you feel more highfalutin screwing it in rather than dropping a $3-5 funnel in the hole? Yes. It always feels better working with premium tools. For me at least.Does it make the job cleaner? Probably.Does it allow you to pour the oil super fast? Yes. Way faster than a narrow necked funnel. Is all of that worth an extra $10? For me - yes. I'd buy it again. Is it worth an extra $10 for you? Judge for yourself.

To be honest I was quite excited to find this product on Amazon for such a low price (as Snap-On sells similar funnels for over $40 each) with such a high review score on Amazon.com but after using this funnel once, I can definitely say it's not up to par. While the base does screw onto most Toyota engines quite nicely (you can't use this on engines with a quarter turn cap, such as the Sienna), the upper blue portion of my funnel has already come unglued after one use, making it harder to remove the funnel from the engine since this part now just freely spins and now the only thing sealing the upper portion is a large o-ring and considering how long the glue job lasted I don't have confidence that will continue to keep the oil within the funnel with continued use. Not to mention I can actually knock the upper portion of the funnel off by accident as well, which again could lead to a spill and kind of defeats the purpose of a threaded oil funnel. In short, I do not recommend this funnel whatsoever unless it's strictly for personal use and you keep in mind it's not a very sturdy funnel. The only reason I can give this funnel a 2 star rating is it does still technically work, but for how long is anyone's guess. For anyone who does at least a few oil changes a day, look elsewhere because this funnel will disappoint you.
