- Grounding: As the TRIRONN series is a common negative controller, the negative poles of the PV array, battery and load can be grounded together.
- NOTE: The controller can also be used in a common positive system. In this case, the negative poles of the controller, PV and load can’t be grounded together, but only one of them can be grounded.
- If the remote temperature sensor is not connected to the controller, the default setting for battery charging or discharging temperature is 25 °C without temperature compensation.

Cable keeps coming loose in seize down connections. Would appreciate replacement screws.

Works just as advised. I have mine hooked into a 270watt, 24 volt Renergy panel. It's a great starter or small off grid system mppt. I use it to keep my Delta and Anker batteries changed. It's a good prep for a grid down situation.

I labored over my decision on a charge controller. In the end I chose this one as it more than met my needs power wise and is really flexible using different modules. I needed the programming screen for a month or two as this is my first setup and I'll need to keep an eye on the numbers but ultimately don't want a digital screen which draws more power and instead want a basic overview. Unfortunately the unit only comes with one of the display modules (the programming screen) BUT I reached out to the vendor and they were most accommodating. Actually that was a highlight, I received emails back within a day (the vendor is 12 hours ahead of me) every time I reached out so excellent customer service! The unit picked up my solar panel details and picked the battery type without effort. The wire terminals were huge and offered plenty of room for my 10 AWG wires. Connecting to my phone to read the details was a little frustrating but instead of downloading the app from the app store get it directly from the epever.com website and that solved the problem (app on app store will only connect to the Bluetooth or WiFi modules which are sold separately and I neither bought nor want them). From what I can tell this has everything the Tracer has and more with the module customization. And I don't know if other vendors are selling this unit but I would stick with this one because they have been great to work with which is not usually my experience with Amazon vendors. All around a great purchase!

This with my two 100w panels is charging at 5-12 amps and 100-180w very very happy, thanks guys I’ll recommend it to everybody I know.
