so I kept the ramps and the ramp pullyees that secure it to the bumper. the rest is just a bunch of bs in my opinion. the ramps are great for getting my quad on and off my truck. and when folded they fut underneath my quad in the bed.

Really good product but after 1.5 years 1 of the straps broke. This company send replacement straps without issue and at no charge. From first contact to being delivered it was 4 business days, WOW 100% GREAT customer service from a company that backs their products. I'll buy from them again.

Got it to work on my 2023 Tacoma. Had to buy $5 of hardware to attach to tailgate. Few comments.1) the strap to secure ramp to truck for loading bike. Wish it would be longer to allow me to connect to lower ring on ramp.2) the strap to secure extender to truck striker plate. You can see from pictures when 2 ramps are stacked together there is no room to attach clip so I attach it to the tie down ring on bed of truck.3) One of the 2 straps to secure bed extender to tailgate. It appears as though the strap with the loop should be run the opposite direction through the metal cinch piece to prevent it from coming loose through the metal cinch.4) I noticed that one of four welded aluminum extensions that secure the ramps together is slightly bent. Still works but just something I noticed.5) The Tacoma tailgate is just slightly too short that the bed extender overhangs the end by about an 1/2 inch.Overall very satisfied and gives me greater confidence when loading motorcycle by having the ability to walk along the bike as opposed to single ramp. Glad I was able to make it work on my Tacoma. Attached are some pics.Hardware(Stainless steel):2x 1/4" bolts 1inch long4x 1/4" fender washers 1.25 diameter2x 1/4" nuts2x 1/4" lock nutsmatched opening with adapter that was provided.

I wanted to haul a motorcycle in the back of a 6' 4" truck bed without having to carry a set of ramps and a bed extender in the truck. This unit does double duty and does both well. Easy to use and very well made.

As stated in other reviews, these are quite narrow. They work well, but you gotta know what you're doing before trying to ride up these ramps. My biggest issue is the lateral instability when they don't have a load. If you hit them just right on your way up (or down), one or the other may cant to a side, and you have to go back and do it again. I'm sure this is consistent with other ramps of similar design, so no stars lost for that. A strap or two between them will help prevent them from sliding away from each other, but not the other way around, obviously. The strap they provide for the ramps do a good job of keeping them tight to the truck. They could have been made a little longer to suit different mounting points, but there's nothing stopping you from swapping the hook part for one with a longer strap attached to it.I have yet to set these up as a bed extender, but I messed around with them a bit the day they came in. The "latch rods" (?) that attach to the tailgate latches for import trucks (Toyota, Nissan, Mazda, etc.) are made of plastic and look chintzy as hell. I'm not sure if I trust them to go down the highway. The domestic versions are made of some kind of metal, probably aluminum, and they look a lot more sturdy.I was pleasantly surprised by the length of these ramps. This is my first set of ramps, so I was imagining something shorter with a much greater pitch. The pitch to a truck without a lift is perfect, and can easily be managed by a novice rider.Pros: Length, quality, and value.Cons: Width, design, and accessories.I will update this review once I've had the opportunity to test them as a bed extender.

Very well-built product with a very smart design, very strong, and the craftmanship is obvious. I REALLY wanted to like these, but they do not work well for me, and here's why:For use as a bed extender, they're a bit hokey, due to the strap system that you have to use to attach them to the truck. They take quite a long time to attach, and they DO hold in place, but I certainly wouldn't put a lot of faith in their ability to hold much more than a cooler, and I definitely wouldn't trust them with my beer cooler!I run 27x10 front tires and 27x12 rear tires on my quad in the summer, and Camoplast Tatou 4S tracks in the winter. You can refer to the pictures for clarification on the following:The deal-breaker for me was that the cross-braces sit nearly an inch recessed in a channel formed by the two main support beams. The channel is only 7.5" wide, which means that anything wider than 7.5" will ride on the support beams, as opposed to the nice, grippy, cross braces. The support beams are super smooth, rounded aluminum that will be slippery when wet, and if you slip off, you roll your machine. My front tires fit inside the channel, but my rears rode up on the support beams, and I shudder to think of how slippery and sketchy it would be in the wintertime with the snow and my tracks.I think the dimensions given in the specs are when they are stacked on top of each other for use as a bed extender.Bottom line, if you have a small machine, with super skinny stock tires, these would probably work well for you. Myself, I will have to find another design that is flat on the top, and wider. They might very well be from the same company, as the build quality of these appears to be excellent.

this RAMP is well made. It is very heavy and the welds look good. I have not attempted to use it as a ramp though. I hoped to use it primarily as a bed extender on my Tacoma and all the manufacturer provides are some stupid nylon straps and way too vague instructions to hold it in place. I am very disappointed. I will keep them though in hopes of using them as ramps one day.

I had a bed extender that was just that, a bed extender only. Pretty simple and easy to use, but not as sturdy as this Extreme Max. Still used it for years till it got stolen. I wanted to buy something better that also served as ramps since I have 2 motorcycles. Planned to use the ramps for break downs and not transport. So far thankfully I've not had to use this Extreme Max for break downs as my motorcycles have not left me stranded. I have a 4x4 truck so it still may not work well for ramps since my truck is a bit high and will make loading the motorcycles difficult. Still hope to find the ramp function useful some day. As far as an extender I've used it a couple of times. I find the strap system takes more time to secure and don't like that as much, but that may change as I use it more. So far it seems pretty strong and well built. I did one MOD that I found useful. I kept finding it annoying that every time I went to pick it up it would come apart. I bought 2 extra long bolts with lock washers and nuts to secure the extender so It no longer comes apart when you go to pick it up. So if the next version has some kind of latch system to lock the 2 ramps that would be good and add an easier system to secure the extender to the truck tailgate. Hope this help. Overall I'm glad I bought it so far.

Purchased these ramps for my boyfriend and he absolutely loves them. They are super easy to use, strong, and they add space to his truck bed. He takes his quad out all the time now that it's so easy to load and unload. I got them to have peace of mind that he wasn't going to hurt his back trying to lift the quad over his tool box in the back of his truck and it has done a great job. Easy to install, fits pretty much any size truck and i would not hesitate to recommend these to anyone considering it.
