I'm sure this product is fine but I received mine with a manufacture date of 2010! I emailed Eye Hortilux to confirm.Check the monogram! Hortilux provides info on how to tell if bulb is used or when it was manufactured.I love Eye Hortilux! Best in the biz that's why I'm not giving a one star.I order a new bulb and definitely don't want a bulb for $70+ for a 400w manufactured 10 years ago even if it wasn't used. Ordering from a different seller.

This lamp delivers everything you expect from the high-quality Hortilux brand, with better output and superior spectral coverage in a 400W bulb. Long life. Perfect for high-energy plants. I've owned several 400W and 1000W Hortilux bulbs, MH and HPS, as well as other brands, and I've been fully satisfied with every Hortilux. Worth the higher price.
