I’ve got a stay trem fitted to a 60s lacquer jaguar and I bought this to put on a MIJ mustang because the stay trem lead time is months and the used market is overinflated.Although not quite as solid feeling as the stay trem this is 90% there. A great and ready alternative to the stay trem given the stay trems impossible lead time.

This bridge has thicker post screws and makes better contact with slot bottom and is more stable, nylon screw bushings so it does not sink over time, ~52mm spacing, and fixed radius 7.25 saddles. Springs are quite tight (in a good way) and overall it’s basically staytrem with springs and chrome plated.I was able to intonate Bass VI with stringjoys(95-24) without even flipping it. AVRI mute plate required minimal hole filing, just 3-4 file motions and fits great.

The bridge on a jazzmaster is a controversial thing, some love it and some hate it. I, for one, like the original jazzmaster bridge. It doesnt captivate me however. When staytrem came out with their revised bridge based on the mustang, I was intrigued, however wait time of 12 weeks does not inspire me. Noticing a sale of these and have read the favorable reviews of the (revised) Marr bridge, I thought to give it a shot. I know mastery has fixed post design on lock, but if the rocking bridge is your thing, for the love of god get this. Its the final boss of offset bridges. Revised 52mm spacing, fixed 7.25" radius, nylon inserts to prevent the all-so-common bridge drift; whats not to love?Edit: I now notice these are sold out. Hopefully they don't get scalped like staytrems...

Nothing to dislike about this bridge. It works better than the one tha was on my '64 Jazzmaster.

Night and day improvement over my original Jaguar bridge. The original threaded-style saddles on my 67' Jaguar bridge definitely contributed to some sustain issues and noises. This Fender bridge increased sustain, reduced noises, dropped right into my original thimbles.

I ordered a custom Jaguar guitar from a company that specializes in paint finished. They shipped the guitar to me with a generic aftermarket bridge. High e-string kept slipping off and I broke a couple over a year. Frustrated, I finally decided to troubleshoot the problem, it was obvious the bridge string spacing was incorrect. After installing this Fender bridge and a setup, I had no string issues. Intonation is spot on, there's 0 string buzz and it plays nice with my tremolo.Highly recommend if you have a 7.25 radius fretboard, no need for expensive Mastery Bridges!
