I was excited to finally get this for my Kapex miter saw. It arrived with shipping damage and the left extension dented so that it was nonfunctional. The stand in the right extension did not have a problem. Hartville Hardware were extremely rude every time I spoke to them. I had to return the whole item and I simply wanted it Replaced with a new one. They refused to do this and luckily refunded my money. Because they chose to not continue doing business with me I will never buy from them again . All I did was buy their item and it came damaged and wanted a replacement. I suppose that is too much trouble for this business. Not to mention the fact that they have the exact item I needed for sale right now on their eBay site and could have just sent me that one piece. This would have been so much less wasteful. I will continue to encourage Festool to authorize other retailers to sell through Amazon. Unfortunately, I also discovered that Festool actually has zero warranty on accessories. That's right, anything without a motor from Festool does not have a warranty.. I am very unhappy with that because something can have a manufacture defect and slip through the cracks and be sold by a non-reputable retailer. I was very afraid this was going to happen to me, but they did issue a refund.. the bottom line is you have to be very careful who you are buying Festool accessories from and how they are being shipped to you.The extensions I received were packaged very poorly, and I'm pretty sure were repackaged by the retailer.I have been trying to edit some of my poor grammar and add some pictures to this review but Amazon for some reason will not approve it and allow it to post. I have done it three times. What is the deal Amazon?

It is expensive,very expensive, but if you want precision out of the box this is it. Festool stands behind their products too.

This is by far the best stand I have used. I have used many different saws and stands working in the trades but this one is by far the best.

There’s not much of a wide frame holding your 1000$ festool miter saw.the other one costs 1700$ I believe.for 1000$ You really don’t get much.even if you are like me and can only afford the 4 or 5 hundred dollar saw I still wouldn’t trust it on this narrow stand.it’s taller than it is wide witch isn’t good.extremely weak attempt from a high end company with a high end company price.every stand out there is better than this one.a milk crate is better.

Some reviews suggest that this isn’t very rigid when set up - not so. If you follow the instructions and take your time this is a great solution for a portable and strong “bench” for your Kapex. You need a hard and flat surface. The “wings” come with a carrying case and can be loaded onto the cart when you are moving the saw. Very nice.
