Perfect to NOT get fluids in places you don't want it. In my picture here I'm using it to divert coolant as I open the heater core on a MK6 Jetta. Did it's job perfectly.There's nothing to it. Figure out your shape, form it, and go. Super simple. The bendable inside it a little quirky for small adjustments, but for overall performance it's more than good. Is going to come in very handy in the future for oil changes on a vehicle I own where the filter is right over the main cradle also.

I have a snowblower where the oil drain sits over the body of the machine so you can't directly catch the oil. In the past I've had to rig up something to redirect the oil, but it hasn't worked well and generally makes a mess. This solves that issue nicely. It's easy to manipulate and holds whatever shape you put it in solidly. I like that the back side is a bit sticky so you can prop it up and it will stay in place. Sometimes it takes a long time to drain oil so not having to sit there holding it is a big bonus.

While changing my last filter, a bunch of dirty oil spilled out of the housing and onto the subframe and other components, making a bigger mess than I wanted... had to wipe it all off to avoid slow-drip oil puddles in the garage. This nifty device solves that problem!They must have some pliable metal under the plastic which keeps its shape. It's sturdier than it looks.I call it my Gumby funnel, just needs a little cigar.

I have wanted one of these for quite a while. I have used it so far in keeping the mess at bay removing the oil filter cartridge on my Cayman, it normally drips down a subframe member but this saved me a bit of brake cleaner. It also came with a REALLY nice microfiber cloth. I def wont be using the cloth to clean up oil, will be saving it for windows or interior cleaning. Rolls up nice for storage. Great utility to have around if you DIY any maintenance with fluids that can be messy.

I was looking for an easier and cleaner way to change the oil in my small engines. I did not even know these little flexible drains existed. The flexible drain is easily manipulated to whatever configuration you need and will allow fluid to flow safely into a waste container. I look forward to years of use. It nicely rolls up when not in use. I did not buy it to use as a funnel but you can bend it to make several size and styles of funnels. It even came with a microfiber cloth to wipe the funnel clean after use.

Haven't tried it yet, but it looks/feels like it will be a great help on our snowblower and lawn tractor.

For years have I have had to wipe up oil on various pieces of equipment after changing oil. I love having this flex funnel to direct the oil where it's supposed to go. Well made and a reasonable price.
