Not a lot of complexity here but the part does fit excellent on our 2012 Ford Escape. It was literally a 15 minute job And the muffler stays quietly right where it should.

I broke my original factory bracket over torquing a trailer hitch receiver, I think the material is Aluminum as it snapped like a chip under pressure... anyhow, this one installed no problem. I had a pair of Lisle exhaust pliers so that took out the engineering aspect of getting the tailpipe loose. I put the new bracket on and lubed the rubber bushing with WD-40 and the support popped right back into place.
