Worked flawlessly. Replaced easy. Replaced a cracked screen on a 31u. I may buy 1 or 2 more to keep in hand because of the popularity of these laptops when they were sold.

I replaced a friends laptop screen with this. And it actually looks a little better then the original screen however it came with a dead pixel so it could be better.

While this item was a few dollars less than the one on eBay, it had a much shorter warranty. 3mos vs 1 year. However, it arrived much faster and it wasn't broken. Something the one on eBay couldn't manage.They were no dead pixels when I installed it and fired it up. So great product. Will check again when I need something.

This screen is still working flawlessly even after a year of use. We were skeptical in the beginning, but not anymore. Would recommend this product to anyone. The price was a deal as other places wanted almost double for it.

Screen is exactly what I needed, no different from the one I removed except this one works.I am not an electronics person nor a particularly patient one, but it's literally ten screws and a cable attachment. I think the hardest part was getting the screw covers and bezel off. The whole thing took twenty minutes tops if you don't count how long it took me to locate my toolbox.It looks great and my kid thinks I'm a genius because I repaired her laptop less than a day after it broke. She doesn't have to know it was a combination of Amazon Prime, a YouTube video (I watched the one on the ScreenSurgeons website as suggested in another comment, but there are a lot of videos out there that take you step by step) and a teeny screwdriver. Kids should definitely think their parents can do everything.

I ordered a replacement screen from a cheaper vendor. It worked at first, but malfunctioned after a few weeks of use. I sent it back, and they said because it was damaged in shipping, I was S.O.L. I contemplated just ditching the laptop completely, but ultimately decided to order from these guys. It was about $10 more, but they sent me a follow-up e-mail after I received the screen to make sure I was happy with it and offering to take it back if not. The screen has been working great, and the overall experience was well worth the 10 extra dollars to buy from a responsible/ethical vendor!

This item was AS DESCRIBED and a perfect replacement fit for my laptop. Very easy to install, too. A quick Google search of the make and model number screen replacement has step by step videos to help. Took maybe 15 minutes total. If you're even minimally technology savvy, you can change this and save $$$$ by not paying a repair shop.
