Great product. Have used it several time and it works great. Used at home to laminate cards I keep in my wallet and at work to laminate full sheets of paper. It also has a corner cutter to round off the edges: great addition.

Nothing negative to say - if I had to, it would be the time to warm up but it's really not a huge issue. I just finished a big job and it came out perfect. Love the cutter on the top - definitely convenient!

Great Hot & Cold Pouch Laminator. Small in size, but perfect for the crowded work area. Surprised at the power of such a small machine. Better than the full-size, nationally known machine!

I really dithered between a 3 or 4 star ratingPROSNice looking packageReasonably solid constructionTools for complete laminating processNice trimming platform with English/ Metric and angle delineationCorner trimmer actually worksCONSThe manual is poor and incomplete.It takes several minutes to warm up, between 30 and 60 seconds to laminate (depends on size of laminate pouch) and at least 5 minutes to cool down enough to use the trimming features. (Yeah, it gets pretty hot.)There is no support for it at either GBC or ACCO. The seller responded:"The laminator that you have purchased is a brand new proprietary unit from GBC. It is unfortunate that the contacts you reached at GBC and Acco did not have information about this unit."Unfortunate indeed! I don't know who or how to contact for spare parts (Cutting Strip, Blades, replacement corner rounder etc.The manuals says to turn the unit off after laminating, but I recommend keeping it on in the "Cold" mode until it is cool enough to use the trimming function. This should keep the rollers moving during cooling.Overall, I would recommend this unit for the price, as long as the caveats noted are understood.
