I bought three of these units. Each provides 5.1-5.2V at about 2.8A over the USB-C connection, and throughput testing did shows sustained 1000 Mbps operation. For the price, you can't beat them. Especially in this day and age when most the stuff on Amazon is junk, I was happy to see that all three exceeded my expectations.

Over the last 4 years I bought over 20 units, with 4 that needed replacement within a few months.Time will tell for the others...

Works fairly well and as advertised. I'd like to see a more compact unit in the future, possibly a smaller block for the PoE Transformer section, but otherwise has worked well.

I've got a Raspberry Pi 3 and a Raspberry Pi 4. While I was interested in possibly using a PoE hat to power these wonderful devices, each option had its fair share of negative reviews or concerns related to fan noise when and where applicable. The GeeekPi units had many good reviews prior to purchase so I opted to follow the crowd on this one. No disappointment was to be had with this gem. Included in the box is the splitter and a USB-C to USB-Micro B adapter. This adapter was installed in line for the Pi 3 and was not require for the Pi 4. Both units are being powered by a UniFi Enterprise 24-port switch with no issues whatsoever. This is a slightly more cost effective and lower maintenance solution when compared to the internal hat options. Very happy with the product.

I use these to hardwire Google Wifi pucks where previously my home mesh was flaky. The single Network cable run is much easier to route than having to keep the Wifi stations close to an outlet.

I'm running the new Pi 4b with this and I haven't had any problems in weeks. Easily powers off a PoE switch for clusters or remote media centers.Update: Ethernet stopped working 2 years in.

I'm working on a project to put a touchscreen monitor on a wall for home automation and wanted to just power it and the Raspberry Pi attached with using my existing PoE switch. This powers the Pi perfectly.

No issues! Works perfectly out of the box. The ethernet connection is solid at a full gigabit and has never dropped or had connectivity issues.

Powers Google Wifi access point. This is not officially support by Google WiFi and will likely void warranties however, it seems to power mine just fine. This is paired with a small Netgear GS108PE switch. You MUST use this with a POE network switch.Per Google's product info, the WiFi access point draws 9-12Watts. This splitter is rated for 12Watts and I believe the Netgear switch can handle 15.4Watts per port (only 4 ports on this switch are POE).
