It's a perfect oem replacement. It stated it would only work for 2005-2008 Pontiac Grand prixs, but it also works for a 2004 Grand Prix. The new cable is 4 or 5 inches longer.

I had my connector for the postive battery break. You can only use OEM style on those cars. So, I ordered this set. I have had it on for a year and it works well.
