Genuine GM Fluid 19257121 High Temperature greasePurchase this OEM grease to apply to my 2007 Chevy Tahoe slip yoke. this grease is specifically designed and called out for using on the slip yoke, the front portion of the drive shaft that goes into the transmission. The grease is designed to be compatible with the transmission fluid as both will inter-mix at the connection point. This is to address the clunk that is heard when the vehicle comes to or leaves from a stop.I was not experiencing the clunk as much as I was getting a metallic scrubbing noise while stopping and when the rear axle would flex around corners and uneven surfaces..I wore a nitrile glove to apply to the grease to the yoke splines..

Easy to use temporary fix for clunking noise from drive shaft yoke to transmission output shaft dry fitment..A little pricy, but for an OEM product, worth the expense to cure a nagging drivability issue and reduce/prevent transmission damage..Recommend purchase for GM vehicles with noisy driveline issues..
