100% genuine honda part. In order to install this part be aware that you will have to remove the throttle body and unplug the cables and coolant lines. When you do this you will probably need to replace a few if they are damaged - it is 8mm inner diameter and they sell some good hose on amazon called autobahn 88. Also be aware that if you attempt to clean the throttle body you will need to take off your idle air control valve located on the bottom of the throttle body. It needs to be cleaned thoroughly with throttle body cleaner however, it needs to be soaked in a ptfe synthetic lubricating oil because the IACV is a rotary part that MUST be lubed to work properly. After all is done you will need to replace coolant, burp the coolant, then perform the idle learn procedure which is documented online. Good luck.

The description for this product said it was new with some cosmetic damage. It's an engine part. Why would I worry about cosmetics? When I received it was broken and missing the piece that was broken off. There's a small plastic stem on the side of the riser. Well, there should be anyway. The pic shows 2 different sizes of the same part but essentially the one on the right (purchased) should look like the one on the left.

Performs like it should... So far so good..local dealer charges more...but I didn't get the rubber gasket like the picture shows. Didn't need it though, all I need was that one piece of black plastic thing that is screw to the silver piece... Too bad they don't just sell that one section..went to two junkyard and the piece was useless cause it was broken too .
