For use with DEF, esters, alcohol, ketones, hydrocarbons, antifreeze, and AdBlue. For use with urea, bases, hydroxides, and other water-based media. For use with media that a regular cast-iron or steel pump won't pump. Designed for broad use and handling mild to very aggressive media. Vanes made out of Ryton (PPS) which offers exceptional stability. Our pump is suitable for a variety of industrial and commercial applications. Complete with a 3-piece threaded suction tube, for use on 15 gallons (50 liters) to 55 gallons (205 liters) drums. Comes with a 2-inch bung adaptor. Not ideal for use with benzoic acid, gasoline, lacquer thinners, and bleach. Not ideal for use with benzene, toluene, xylene, turpentine, and jet fuel. It failed pumping window washer fluid shortly after the return window. Like I said, thought I got the correct pump for the job. Back to the cheap plastic ones!

Needs oil to prime the pump but why would you put oil into a pump that your going to pump alcohol or acetone through?? I got the pump to work once by pouring the product down the spout hole and quickly re-installing the spout and turning the handle but once I stopped for 15 seconds or longer, it loses prime and will not pump anymore. TOTALLY not for what it states it's used for! This is the blue 44144 pump.

Didn't last a week pumping cleaning solvent. It had a fairly easy life transferring solvent from a 55 gal drum to a 2 gallon portable safety can twice a day. It worked perfect the first 4 or 5 times then we had to crank fast and long to get it started. On day 6 it didn't matter how fast and long we cranked it wouldn't pump.
