First rain event and I got rust around the bottom of both flag poles and screw. I put a little thread ock on the screws at the base plate, but they still loosened up a little.

The Texas flag fit in the hole very loosely, which is not good for riding, and the US flag did not fit at all so I wasn’t able to use it and had to return it.

Ok. Took this out for a day ride on the highway. I don’t care if you use a whole bottle of thread locker. It’s doesn’t work. Vibrated apart. Lost a mount on the way. Second mount almost gone. Just on one ride!!!

Fast shipping, good price. Use lock tight on the nuts.

The product arrived as posted. Cost was reasonable for the look and prestige of the item. The flags were in good solid colors and crisp to the touch. Here’s the catch. Under features #2 it says “made from stainless steel” (that’s where I stopped reading). The base is stainless steel but the poles is made of 6061 aluminum, if I only had kept reading. It’s soft metal basically. As I’m securing the top nut to the pole (with pliers, slippery suckers) it just twisted right off. Not much force, just like that, twisted off. So, to my fellow riders interested in this piece, yes I’d buy it (not again) but be very careful not to apply any amount of pressure. Douse it with lock tight and complete the tightening of the nut with fingers. I’m somewhat saddened by my experience but well it is what it is. Ya enjoy yaws flags and fly them high. See ya on the road someday.
