Used my own screws because the stock ones were too thin for what I needed them for, just installed one at each top since they're just holding Guitar Hero controllers

very solid real wood block base and stem; other products have plastic stem. Bought 6 initially for home; I used 2 1/2" yellow deck screws (Deckmate #9x2-1/2 in. Star Flat-Heat Wood Deck Screws from HD; the strongest deck screw you can find) on wall stud instead of provided screws to make it stronger esp for my heavy Bass guitar and have color matched at home on wood studs. Bought 4 more and installed on commercial aluminum stud w provided screw by itself and on drywall w provided anchors and all good to hang lighter items other than guitars. total 10 purchased and installed; all in good shape.

I got this to mount my acoustic guitar, electric guitar, electric bass, and acoustic ukulele. All of these had no problem supporting their weight. I did, however, make sure to get the larger instrument mounts secured into a stud. The little ukulele I just used a drywall anchor. I did bend the prongs for some of the instruments to ensure they were the right size for their necks and heads. This is easy to do and doesn't seem to have damaged the integrity of the mount. Overall I think these are super attractive and great for any musician.

These are attractive looking and are working well so far. They're a little thinner than other wall hangers I've tried but that could be a good thing if you want less mass on your wall. They don't swing as freely either, they tend to stay where positioned. So you're guitar can tilt a little until you stand back and visually inspect, then straighten it. Overall though it gets the job done just fine and is a good value for the price in my opinion.

I have a concert ukulele, and the ukulele size wall mount was not quite big enough. I was happy to get the chance to try out the guitar hanger. It works great! It is super easy to install… Just screw the mount into the wall (using anchors if there’s no stud) then screw the forked hanger into the mount. It came with anchors (see picture), but I used my own (more experience with that kind). The mount looks nice, and I really appreciate that it came in a set of two… That way I automatically have two matching ones (The mount looks nice, and I really appreciate that it came in a set of two… That way I automatically have two matching ones (great since we have so many stringed instruments around here!).If you were looking for a wall mount to hang a guitar or ukulele, this is a great option.

These guitar hangers couldn't be easier to install. They come with very direct instructions on how to use a plastic drywall anchor, and the walnut grin looks great-not cheap at all. I had two of them up in ten minutes and no longer need to lean guitars that won't fit in to my multi-guitar stand against the wall or in a corner.Once I put them up, the felt as solid as a rock, and the wuality hardware that comes with them is a real plus. I hate to remember the number of drywall installations I've botched when using cheap plastic anchors. These anchors are stiff and strong, and the screws that come with them are sized perfectly.I've been reluctant to use hangers because I didn't want my rooms to look like a music store, but these are aesthetically pleasing, and very practical.Good product.
