I have to cut branches all the time since I live in the middle of nowhere, so I thought I'd give this saw a try. I thought I was only ordering one; however, I got a box full. I guess if one goes dull, I always have more to switch it out. Anyway, it saws very well and the blade is really long. The handle is comfortable to hold and the slight curve makes the sawing easier.

My husband has been laid up with a bit of a back injury so I'm trying to take over most of the yard work for now. I really needed to prune some branches and honestly, wasn't sure that I was going to be able to do it as it's not something I generally do. I had actually gotten the hang of this saw. I like it because it's easy to hold and have pretty good control over it when I use it. I've been trying to prune some of the 1-inch ish tree branches off some of our trees that needed and I have become pretty adept at doing it. With lack of knowing much of a difference, I'd say it's pretty sharp and I've got fairly efficient at sewing through a branch. I am not going to tackle something 3 in wide an inch, I have with confidence. I like the length of it as it helps me reach things a little bit higher than I normally would be able to. Overall, from an experienced person, I think this is a pretty good choice!

This is a great saw for hand pruning tree branches, thicker bushes and the like. It's very sharp and the blade is long enough to reach deep.The wood handle is very comfortable and the saw is easy to hold. The saw also comes with a plastic case which is essential to prevent injuries. It slides over the blade and kind of snaps onto the handle. I wish it secured a little better but I haven't had any problems with the blade separating from the case. It should last for a long time.Good purchase.

I ordered this pruning saw to replace a similar saw I inherited from my grandfather (>60yr old saw). The design is almost identical, so I expect this will last for many years as well. I have several fruit trees where a chainsaw won't get close enough or will cause too much damage. This saw is perfect for getting in close with a clean cut.

Nearly thirty dollars for a hand saw is notable, and some may hesitate to order at that price. I ordered the saw with the thought that "it better be really good for that price." It is. Most of my yard work I do with hand tools just because I like the control I have with them over chain saw and the like. This saw is sharp and it cuts through my palm trees, hibiscus and bougainvillea like butter. It's easy fit me to hold and maneuver. I'm happy with this saw.
