This is just perfect! I had shoulder surgery and will be in brace/ sling for 6 weeks- can’t put arm in sleeve, so this nice warm wrap is perfect over my shoulders. color is actually more of a burgundy, which is very pretty.

Just in case you were wondering why this cashmere scarf was such a good deal, it's because it's not a cashmere scarf. Honestly, I didn't expect it to be cashmere considering the price so I'm very happy with the scarf it's exactly the way it's pictured even though it's definitely not cashmere soft. It's made of regular sweater yarn.However, I truly hate it when sellers are not honest in their description of the item they're selling! It's misleading and dishonest! That is why I gave it four stars.

Women's clothing is not as pocket friendly as it could be....I continually walk into another room and set down my phone or glasses and get back to my desk or another room in my home without either. The shawl's light enough to offset the chill or sitting in A/C....the knit is soft and pliant....Easy care....machine washable and dryable.

I purchased the red blanket scarf to keep in my church tote. I get cold easily so I like to have a cover with me at all times. It is a great size to cover my neck, shoulders and arms and the pockets work well for a tissue, bonus keeps my arthritic hands warm.The red is not a bright color has gray threads running through it and today with my cranberry colored top it looked more of a burgundy color. Depending on the color you wear it may look brick colored or a little more red. I feel it is a very neutral color and will be a mainstay in my church tote going forward. It will be nice during the summer for air conditioning.

My grandmother is *always* cold, and she needed something comfortable to use around the house -- something less constrictive than a sweater. Years ago, when she was downsizing to move, she gave me a bunch of shawls she'd made and worn often, and among them was one with pockets like this one -- that I thought was a genius design idea! So this year, when I set out to find her a new shawl, I immediately started searching for one with pockets.I was a little nervous about ordering this one, since it's clearly imported, and my luck with some items from Asia has been hit and miss. But it looked like a nice size, the color is absolutely what my grandmother would want, and it's acrylic -- which means it's easier to clean. I initially looked at some cashmere ones, thinking they'd be really nice, but a coworker helpfully pointed out that an acrylic one could be easily washed at home. Definitely the right move.This one arrived quickly and is exactly like the one in the picture. It's soft but sturdy, not the least bit scratchy, and when I tried it on to make sure it would fit her well, I was tempted to come back and order one for myself. Overall, it's a nice, inexpensive gift for someone who likes to keep things simple and understated.
