We were super excited to add this hoop to our outdoor water activities. Unfortunately our excitement faded when we attempted to assemble said product. The threading on the screws and nuts do not mate. I now have to go to the hardware store to find the proper screws and nuts which will mate. The manufacturer needs to find a new hardware vendor!

We LOVE this basketball hoop! Very sturdy, high quality parts. Assembly is easy and the lights are awesome. I cant believe the price on this when compared to other hoops.

3 years ago I purchased a basketball goal that sits close to the water. The hoop is approx. 15" up from the pool deck. Entire thing is plastic. It has held up quite well and has taken a beating from the grandkids. It sits so low that blocking a shot is nothing.Now this one shows up. Putting it together was going nice and smooth until one of the bolts decided to jam when it had about 1/8" left before being tight. Would not turn in either direction. Had to use my Dremel and cut the bolt. This happened two times! Luckily, I have a pretty nice selection of hardware and was able to find replacements.Other than that event the rest was straight forward. I was impressed with how nice of a unit it is. The hoop is a regular size steel hoop that would be used on a normal basketball goal. And I mean heavy constructed steel hoop. Appears to be powder coated. The pole structure is also steel and then the backboard and base are plastic. Plenty of height adjustment. I lowered mine about 10". Any higher and I think we would be constantly chasing balls over the wall and into the neighbors yard. This is going to add the need for better skills and more fun.Besides the two bolt issues I only have one other con to add. The two balls they supply are junk. Just thin rubber bouncy balls. You can inflate them to totally different sizes. I suggest purchasing GOSPORTS water basket balls size 3.

Great pool side basketball hoop. It was used a lot this Summer. I would definitely recommend.
