I just assembled this little guy in my above ground pool today. My 5 year old got a kick out of how cute he is. It was super easy to assemble and does a great job cleaning. The leaf collector attachment does not come with it. This is an optional feature.

Second one of these cleaners I have owned. The first on lasted 15 years (with a couple re-builds). It works great on my vinyl liner pool. Easy to use, easy to fix, if you need to, and it's cute. Grandson loves it!

Thought I was purchasing something that would meet the needs of our pool maintenance. My Husband does not like this at all. He had utilized a different style for years & 'I' thought it was time for something that I considered a much better approach to cleaning our Pool. However, 'IF' it isn't broke, don't buy something because it appears to be better. The standard design that He was using is a much better way to clean your pool ....not these cute items. We will be purchasing the style he had before, because .....IT WORKS BETTER!

Works really good. Newer models are the same just more expensive. This will stop moving if it gets sand or grit into the moving parts. Generally it gets jammed after drying out. You'll need to become familiar with how to disassemble it to clean it out.

I cannot say that I am really impressed with my Penguin Pool Cleaner. If you have any sort of semi-strong outlet or current going and it grabs the hose off penguin goes sideways, tipping over and never corrects itself. Maybe if it was a little heavier that wouldn't happen. I'm finding that I have to go correct it every 15 min or so to make sure it's doing what it's supposed to do.
