This is for a huge dog! Very well made but Doesn’t go around your waist. Can only wear as cross body which can pull your shoulder out of the socket. Returned

It’s an interesting product. It’s nearly impossible for my dog to pull me when I am using it. The traditional leash relies on one’s upper body strength to pull, where this one uses back and legs muscles. I can walk my dog by biking when I use this leash.

Very colorful and useful. Good quality. Adjustable length. Hardware is very heavy duty.

Bought for our new puppy. The color is beautiful and build quality is great. Size is also perfect and the handle part also added some slip resistance.

Not at all long enough if you’re like 100 pounds and your dog is like a tea cup size great … otherwise don’t waste your time or money

Okay I know the description says it's heavy duty... I've tried a few of these hands free leashes and they all seem to be the same... *Heavy* duty. Emphasis on the heavy. My dog is 40# and comes to about my knee at the shoulder. It's really to heave for her. The leash is heavy, the clasp is heavy. Well made, but heave. It came with no instructions, but since I've had others, I was able to figure out how it all worked pretty easily. As far as the clasp... I like the idea. Many leashes have started going more toward that style and after my dog's traditional clasp somehow came undone while doing parkour one day - twice - I really like these. BUT... I prefer the ones with a slide up locking mechanism. The twisting lock is not necessary for a dog and is time consuming. The seatbelt function is a nice option. I already have one, so haven't tried it, but a nice idea. But - DO NOT use this or any tether with your dog unless they're in a harness!!! Using it with a collar could kill your dog in an accident. The hands free is nice if you don't have a dog that runs circles around you. I find it very useful when I take her to a store and need both hands to pick something out or pay.I think it's a good leash for a bigger dog. Don't recommend for medium size dog.

there are a few things I have my doubts about. I received this leash without any instructions and had to look it up online to figure out how it works. Like I mentioned - this is a great invention . . . if you have a dog with some obedience skills, otherwise you may not want to be tethered together . . . especially with a large size dog or a fearful dog. I also would hesitate to use the seat belt function if attached only to a collar - please do not do this for your dog's safety. And a locking hook seems hardly necessary and also another risk in case you have to remove this leash for an emergency situation. (It can be screwed on to lock or not thankfully.) What I do like is the bungee cord aspect of this leash; my dog will want to lunge after a squirrel but she has learned she won't get too far once she feels the slight give of the bungee cord. With a hand held leash she could easily jerk it out of my hand. I have to be vigilant on our rural walks - there's something about dogs and squirrels that must be genetically ingrained!
