I crashed my Champ into a chain link fence( looked like a fly stuck on a wall) and the only damage done was I lost the hub that hold the wheel to the axle. There are two parts, one on the inside is for a spacer and one on the outside has a interference fit to hold the wheel on the axle. I lost both of these but I found the wheel. It would be nice to be able to buy just the spacer and the hub rather than the whole landing gear assembly.

This replacement part was simple to install. Everything about the Champ is easy, especially repairing the plane. I wish it did not require repair so frequently, but this is as much due to pilot error as it is to product.
