I have purchased ~6 of these of these over the course of the last 2 years. The price and appearance are what drew me in, as I wanted a tinted canister to prevent the liquid inside from being subject to excessive UV.While I noticed some reviews mentioning leaking, I charge mine up to ~30-40PSI and have never had any of them leak. I can't say whether higher pressure would cause issues, but I'm happy with these in my pressure range.

Worked well for about 6 months. Developed a hairline crack at bottom of housing and leaked. Cracked perhaps from over tightening - over tightened to prevent leak at lid.

Bought this to filter homemade beer and wine. Works perfectly! It goes in the dishwasher so it is easy to clean and it doesn't have the vent valve on top where bacteria can hide. It is sturdy and seems well built.

I bought two of these for an fish tank filter application. I found I couldn't get cartridges to go in them , they was always a little proud and i thought the leaks were due to that. i then tried with out the cartridges and they still leaked. The links where always where the main housing attached to the lead. i even tried swapping out the rubber O ring all to know avail. very disappointed.

Inexpensive housing. Used with a pond pump to make a filter for a small (1800 gal) above ground pool (inflatable). Works great. Common filters in many configurations available.
