These wheels are great for the price, they definitely were difficult to mount onto Proline BFGoodrich tires but you have to use the long screws to line everything up, then place the other screws in and cinch it together slowly. At the end remove the long screw and replace with a smaller one. It takes some finagling with the Proline tires but they will mount if you're patient. Just mounted mine this evening and drove around a bit, no de-beading yet but I will update the post accordingly. Other than the "long screw tip", make sure to use loctite on the short screws as this is metal on metal and they will unthread themselves.

They would not work with my stock redcat gen 8 tires. The bead kept popping out everytime I started tightening the screws down. I'm assuming they won't work with proline tires very well either, since they also have a fatter bead on them. I gave up after about 6 or 7 attempts with the first tire. They do however work very well with rc4wd tires. Mounted a set of Baja claws on my trx4 sport. Fit and finish is great. There is no issues with clearance around the portals like a lot of the less expensive beadlocks. I'd recommend them for a cheap upgrade for any 1.9 truck. 👍👍

On a single wheel I noticed the rim was missing paint, it's on the backside but is visible from the front/outside. On arrival that spot was already rusty, which is disappointing. I'll have to figure out the best way to clean the rust and repaint/seal that spot so it doesn't continue as something like this isn't worth sending back. I've found a lot of the hobby is learning how to DIY things anyway.Besides that, they fit perfectly with my Proline Hyrax tires/foams on the Traxxas TRX-4 Sport. They look awesome, they are a tad tedious to install, the bolt holes have to be oriented just right to go together properly and you have to run long bolts to tighten it down enough for the short bolt to reach. But once they are together I noticed I had a water tight fit between the rubber and the wheel. Some water collects between metal bits, but my foams were dry after shallow submersion in a creek and cleaning in the tub.I'm not sure that spending double or triple this amount ($30) for wheels is worth it on an RC car, so I think the value here is just right for a casual RC hobbyist.

These look great, classic design and perfect for older looking trucks. They have a nice weight to them as well which is an added benefit to get that weight down low. They were really easy to assemble and have worked great.

The wheels are nice looking and pretty easy to assemble. One of the wheels wouldn’t fit all the way over the hex on my trx4 sport. The paint on the inside of the wheel was a bit too thick, but after breaking it in, they fit fine. They perform well. I found that the extra weight (over the stock wheels) helped with climbing steep paths on trails. They’re also water tight (with unvented tires of course), which is a plus if you like driving through shallow creeks or mud.

these wheels i tried to like..i bought multiple beadlock wheel's and by far these was the worst ones ever...putting in the screws in center hub caused so much surface damage and the paint started to peal off like an orange..i ordered the grey ones and it started to peal off within a few hours..i had to return them..they also wouldnt fit the application..i didnt mind taking a few hours to mount on some tires but the product pealing off and looking like used marketplace rc wheels you would by for 10 dollars...do yourself a favor and spend the extra 15 to 20 and get the real stamped steel rc4wd wagon wheels bc trying to save money is a bad idea..they suck soooooo bad i returned them the next day fot credit bc they sucked i didnt wanna right a bad review but they sucked and i wanna give u guys a heads up thats all

Great wheels. I have no idea why people are saying they are difficult to assemble. They give you long screws to start the wheel. You don’t even have to use the long screws on some tires like the Injora super swamper rocks tyre (hyrax clone). Metal hubs and quality finish and fit. The gray color is pretty sharp and matches the injora ARB style bumper. These wheels have a nice weight and add good unsprung weight to your rig. I really can’t understand why you wouldn’t give these wheels 5 stars.

Ich wollte die Felgen mit meinen originalen TRX 4 Traxxas Canyon Reifen verwenden. Leider ist hier die Montage recht schwierig bis unmöglich. Der Reifenwulst rutscht immer aus der Halterung. Auch mit einfrieren der Reifen war keine Besserung möglich. Mit anderen 1.9er Scalerreifen soll die Montage besser funktionieren. Ich werde mich diesbezüglich umsehen.
