Overall very impressed with these units. I purchased a transmitter and 4 receivers and had great success with them at a distance of less than 200 Ft. I will say that going through walls can be challenging to get the connection to link. It was intermittent at best when going through walls. We use these primarily for professional corporate A/V use and swear by them in same room applications. We will be purchasing more of these units in the future!

It's not the greatest. I have 3 TV's hooked up and 2 of them barely stay connected. They aren't out of range according to the specs. I wouldn't recommend them.

Far superior to "my wireless TV" by actiontec, which I was using before. I was a little reluctant to buy this as it was much more than the actiontec product, which had flaws. This was worth every penny as it works great and as advertised with a no brains setup. Literally spent 5 minutes to set up transmitter and 2 receivers.Also, great customer service from Amazon! - my original order for transmitter + 4 receivers was incomplete when it arrived...Amazon promptly shipped a new and complete order and processed my return promptly. This product is totally "plug and play" ...worked flawlessly and instantly with essentially zero latency between main TV and multicast receivers, and no lengthy handshaking process between transmitter and receiver when remote TV powered on. Ability to watch one source on main TV and second source on multicast TV's a really nice feature. Auto off feature for receivers if remote TV is off also really nice (should prolong service life of receivers by not always being "on").

Quite fiddly. Worked well with one tv but is flaky with my roku tv(different hdmi input type?). The pass through source hdmi sometimes cuts out. Range is closer to 40 feet, not 200). Am still considering returning the setup - not worth the price but there are few non proprietary solutions...

It's cool to have multiple receivers, but the reception on the far ones are kinda shaky. The far ones aren't even 100 feet away, but they are one floor above. Just expected a bit more for over $1,000

Buyer be warned! Video works nicely, although the published 200 feet transmission distance is a joke. Unless your installation is located in an open unobstructed field with no wind on a sunny day under pristine conditions, do not expect to get much more than 60 feet in a multi-story home.As for the sound, it is crap! The device does not transmit the Dolby Digital/AC3 signal to be processed by a typical audio/video receiver supporting a speaker system. IOGEAR customer service was useless and told me that was the way the device was designed and essentially "too bad" for me on my installation. So unless you desire to plug this setup into a TV with two speakers for basic stereo sound, either do not buy this, or come up with a different solution for the audio which sort of defeats the purpose of what had the promise of being a really good solution, but falls extremely short with such a significant design flaw.
