This is pretty straight forward as far as assembly goes. You just press the sides down and slide the back into place. Not sure why others think it's flimsy and unstable, it holds together just fine and doesn't wobble or anything. This isn't supposed to be magic, it is supposed to function as a guide so your slices of bread are consistent, which is why I needed this. The price was great, and the quality is better than I expected for under $4. It will hold a tall loaf of bread or the homemade loaves I make everyday and is going to make it much easier for me to cut sandwich sized slices of bread. It comes apart for easier storage so it fits in well with my small kitchen . Very happy with my purchase and would buy again.

It's not very sturdy. I hold the sides from the top while cutting my bread. It will do for now, but I'd like to get a better one. Maybe if I glued the sides in the bottom it would hold up better 🤔

The product is really poor quality and poorly engineered. I went to snap it together and it will not stay in one piece while using. everything moves and wiggles and makes it dangerous to slice the bread with the knife. Further, the bottom surface is smooth and slick and allows the loaf to slide around, making it difficult to keep the bread slices width consistent. Really sorry that I wasted my time on money on this item.

Not to great for big loaves.

The concept is great, however if I were you I would invest in a wooden one.

Some what flimsy on bread not made with a bread maker. It’s the size of bread. Other breads are to small for this slicer. Comes apart.
