This appears to NOT be officially licensed merchandise. As such, it's constructed extremely well for this price, not cheap but not expensive either, with pretty good materials and an accurate printing of the cartoon character.

This is an unlicensed Sanrio My Melody-inspired pencil pouch. You can't really tell the difference from the real thing! There is a zipper on top. Once opened, the 2 compartments on each side serves different purpose. One side has elastic slots to add 6 pens/pencils. The other side is just a open space to add whatever else you have. Overall, this is a pretty nice pencil pouch to keep your school supplies in order.
