I've found my old PS2 in my garage and started to play it again. Unfortunately, I couldn't find a memory card and ordered this one. This works perfect with a PS2 slim, no issues so far. Hopefully it lasts.

I'm using this on an original PS2 - plugged it into the first memory card slot, turned on system and I was right to the boot up menu as in the photos here. The OLED on the card itself works and is easy to read. Not much else to say other than it works!

This memory card is a fantastic upgrade for anyone still using a PlayStation 1 or 2. The fact that it's firmware upgradeable gives it a lot of potential for the future. The included 8GB MicroSD card offers plenty of space for all my saves, and the speed is impressive. It works seamlessly with both consoles, and I haven't had any issues with it. Highly recommend if you're looking for a reliable and expandable memory card.

Time to break out the PS2 again since I no longer am restricted by an optical media only console. With this I can use FreeMcBoot and even install emulators with no issues. The online instructions made it simple to use compared to other methods, so I’m really happy to be using a PS2 for that nostalgic feeling along with modernizing it at the same time, can’t go wrong with a double whammy. There are some truly interesting and useful custom open source programs for PS2 that can now be easily used thanks to this memory card mod. It's incredible how much storage you can add to a PS2 with this too, quite remarkable. This memory card add-on is something I’ve been hoping would be created for a long time and now I can’t use the PS2 without it. I hope to try it with a PSX someday, but for now I'm solely using it in a PS2. This is just one of those things that actually excited me and I will happily use it for quite some time. Game on!

Superb! Simple to use and 100% effective whilst being used. So much easier than the ball-ache that is the HDD method of playing backups. This is plug and play as it should be and anyone with an interest in retro gaming, PS1 or PS2 in particular, should definitely check this great product out. 10/10, flawless product.

Klare Kaufempfehlung!

This professionally produced version of the SD2PSX arrives in what I currently consider to be the gold-standard when it comes to clamshell packaging. You don’t even need to pull out the scissors to open this up, you can pop it open with a finger and get your product out without any fuss.Even if you ONLY use this for the unlimited saves, backing up, and editing saves, then the asking price is well worth it, as it’s just not worth the hassle of using OEM memory cards. However, this also lets you mess around with exploiting your PS2 without any extra equipment, hardware adjustments or knowledge necessary. This gives you access to the rabbit hole that is homebrew software for the PS2 which is an ever-changing landscape of plugins, apps and software produced by dedicated developers, which let you do all sorts of things with this GOAT console. It’s worked great with both of my original PS2’s and I've only just begun messing around with the things that are possible due to this product. The SD2PSX is a fully open source project and while you can technically make your own, you’ll need to be proficient with a soldering iron and own or know someone with a 3D printer to complete it. Being able to get one with a professionally produced shell/case and soldered to perfection for £34.99 is hard to complain about.

I've had FreeMcBoot on a memory card for a while and did nothing with it. Got this and started up the system and... suddenly I'm excited to play games on my PS2 again! I had planned on a HDD, then using a Compact Flash card previously, but never got them to work. THIS works and boots right up. That bag of Memory Cards is going in a drawer now as I'm able to save to the MicroSD card and I'll be able to keep playing those treasured oldies while keeping the discs clean and safe from wear.I'm still learning all the features, but my PS2 (Fat & slim) consoles both support Network and I see there's an option in the menu to explore for local networking. I expect the majority, if not all, the servers are long since offline. I love being able to bring new use to old devices and this has renewed my interest with it's range of function.

I can't believe it took me this long to embrace the future, How you get the game is on you however this works great for "Jailbreaking" a PS2. It takes micro-sd cards and includes a little 8gb one which is enough for severaaallllll games (Unlike games of today) and you can even use a larger sd card if you so choose.

I had mad a picomencard+ a ways back but that only does ps1 so having one for the ps2 is a plus. It is convent to back up saves to an SD card and be able to preserve them on my PC.

I personally never seen a card like this. But I can finally ROM my games over. I never had the expertise to mod my PS2 or PSX, but I never really had to. I have the original games that they never released onto a newer console, but the discs are scratched. And unlimited saves? Yes, please. I hated the limitations of memory cards. And any of them you buy now are typically knockoffs that pretend to be Sony-branded.The unbranded SD card that comes with it is a nice touch as a starter card. But you'll want to upgrade to a different one.My only gripe with this is that the SD card is such a pain to get out. My fingernails couldn't eject it, I had to use a razorblade very carefully to do it. I'm not knocking off a star though because once the new SD card is in it, I won't ever take it out again. The build quality is pretty good. I was expecting for it to make clunking sounds when you shake it or something. It doesn't and it feels solid.I definitely recommend this and will get a backup just in case.
