Would not stay on the base. It's supposed to clip on the base but this one would not. Kept popping off. Nice and well made with a great chrome finish. Had to return it for not fitting

I have a vintage tele that didn't have the ashtray and after seeing pictures of tele's with the ashtray installed I had to have one and man does it look great. This ashtray pushes on over the bridge. No screws it relies on the bridge to stay in place. It does take a bit of pressure to put it on and may pop off a couple of times before it stays on. It might just be me but I think it has changed the sound of my tele a bit.

It's looks nicely make unfortunately the bridge I have is 76.5mmto wide. Same as the wilkinson bridge. The cover measured in at 74.5 mm at the pinch point, and since it's curved in that section it doesn't allow the cover to seat correctly. Its useless unless you do some reshaping. I'm keeping it to see what I can do to make it fit. I'm sure if I order from another company it will be the same issue.Update I have change the rating to 3 stars. The part doesn't fit as is but I will commend kaish who contacted me to try to resolve this, unfortunately I already took a dremal to the piece.It's good to see that they take pride in their product. Don't let this review stop you from buying other kaish product, I will definitely order from them.

The pinch points were too narrow for my ashtray bridge. This might not be a fault of this product as my bridge for my guitar build is a third party brand - not Fender - so it might fit official bridges a bit better out of the bag. However, for this one I had to use pliers to get it a little wider. Now it’s on pretty snug.
