Can't notice a difference until you really step hard or put it in sport mode. I have the 3.7L and I noticed a boost mostly around 2,500 RPM then it really growls at 6 to 7,200. You'll spin the tires AWD if you go to 3 in 1st then step on it using paddles only. I don't like how the ECU limits it at 135. I was in 5th and had plenty go.As for normal driving im getting 19 standard instead of 17.5 to 18 MPG. So there's reason to get for the 3.5 just don't expect as much power gain as me. Perhaps negligible but the 3.7 cyclone is flawless except the dumb placement of water pump.

Great intake, it's K&N and they make a great product!I would urge however that if you add the intake to your engine that you get a tune from Torrie at Unleashed Tuning. torrie@unleashedtuning.comThe intake addition caused some lag and gear mistiming. However the tune cleared all those issues right up and the car drives like a totally different car, in a good way. Just YouTube 'unleashed tuning' and you will see some examples of what a tune can do for you. All you need to do is order an SCT tuner that is compatible with your vehicle; and then Torrie will email you your tunes. Loading them onto the vehicle is very easy as well; and if for whatever reason you don't like the tune changing the vehicle back to stock is just as easy. But yeah, the intake is awesome!I mention the tune because some may order the intake and decide to return it because it makes the vehicle run funny, I almost returned it until I found a way to correct the issues.

Sound when passing gear is engaged is fun. As for the better as mileage? Maybe but because of the sound I lay on the accelerator too often now. Install was a breeze, only took 60-90 minutes.

This intake makes a world of a difference to the car. Sounds much more aggressive than stock. The install is very easy if you just go by the step by step instructions with pictures that is provided. Only reason I didn't give it a five star is because I wish this part came in all black rather than the silver tube. A must have if you want your vehicle to sound better for a reasonable price.

Great product. Totally feel the difference !And past the 30% throttle....wow does this thing get loud!!!! Your engine sounds like a monster. I'm not kidding !!!!! I would say it's about 250% louder on full throttle Pretty crazy. But totally loving it. While driving normal u won't hear the difference.

Im not the most vehicle savvy individual out there, so I can not inform you of any definitive hp increases, acceleration, mpg. I want to say yes, but it may be all in my head, or too soon. It's seems an increase of about 2 mpg. The install took about 2 hours and I highly recommend using a YouTube vid for assistance. Be careful not to over tighten and handling certain pieces. As far as sound goes, makes my v6 sound like an aggressive v-8 at higher speeds. I'm def happy with the sound. One possible neg to mention for some folks, it whistles when accelerating above 2000rpm. Some say it sounds like a supercharger. I could do without the whistle, never the less I'm satisfied with it. Plus when your playing music or the windows are up you won't notice it all that much. I was told by a k&n rep "This is probably the sound of air passing by the throttle body blade. Your vehicle's original intake components may have been designed to muffle these noises, by using resonator chambers, convoluted tubing, and a closed airbox. Your engine operates much more efficiently with your new K&N intake, with its open filter and high flow tube, and the noises which occur naturally within your engine are free to pass out into the open air, and can be more audible. If your intake system is installed as specified in the K&N installation instructions, then the sound is normal and cannot be changed."

Silent while normal driving but sounds like a V8 when floored. Install was lengthy but easy to do. For what you spend on this you would expect better quality on some parts. Plastic threaded couplers are garbage and are extremely hard to thread. Count on cross threading them and just cramming them in there as a last resort because they're stripped. Other than that been good

K&N has served me well for a number of years now. They manufacture a high quality product that will fit your specific vehicle with no issues. Not only do you get a slight "seat of the pants" increase in performance, but a small increase in gas mileage too. The biggest thing you'll notice is the increase sound coming from under the hood. Kind of like like the older carbs used to make. Looks very classy under the hood, my only complaint is that only the metal tube version was available for my vehicle. The metal is know to be more suceptable to heat than the plastic version.. You may lose a small bit of HP due to the heat. Anyway, shop around for these products to get the best price. I have found Amazon to be the best so far! Thanks, Bob C.
