Ideal pour sécuriser de grosse trottinette. Attention toutefois, je ne jugerais pas de la résistance devant un voleur déterminé qui de toutes facon parviendra à tout couper. Je ne laisse pas la trottinette dehors bien longtemps. Pour de petites courses c’est nikel. Les 2 parties sont très pratiques.

This product is absolute junk. It unlocked exactly once. The second time I tried to unlock it, I was unable to get it to open, and I am returning it to Amazon as a result. A lock that won't unlock reliably is a useless lock.I expect MUCH better quality from a product costing this much money. Fortunately, I had not yet put it on the bicycle. Were it not for that, I'd have had to spend more than the cost of the lock to pay someone with an angle iron to grind the thing off.Stay away. Far away.

Solid construction, will deter casual theft looking for easy score. Nothing is 100% safe so I also use a second, larger Kryptonite to secure back tire to bike frame along with the rack in heavy urban areas.With smaller loop can secure quick release front tire or back tire as situation demands. Also loop perfect size to lock electric scooter to bicycle while securing everything to bike rack.

Pro: It's a quality lock. Very solid, good features to prevent being easily picked, cut or jacked open. Attaching the rear wheel to the frame is a great idea. It folds into a very compact package for transport.Con: It's rather fiddly to use. Getting the frame, wheel, and bike rack lined up is tricky, and then keeping all three pieces together (four if you also use a cable, five with a helmet) is difficult. It also won't lock up to anything that isn't perfect geometry. If you can't get close enough, or the object is too big, you're just SOL.Overall the product is as advertised, but I'm going to go back to a big ol' U-bar for most purposes.

Ich hatte etwas Schwierigkeiten das Schloss auf zu bekommen (muss zusammengedrückt werden). Macht einen sehr stabilen Eindruck, passt auf mein Ebike.

I think I heard feedback from bike messengers was used in helping design. While no lock is unbreakable by determined bike thieves, I needed one for school that would be better than the lock on the bike next to mine so that I won't be the easy target. Surprisingly easy to use and if you register with the company, you can get a replacement key should you lose yours in the future. Easy to use and have found it easy to use on most standard bike rakes.

Well worth the money. It is light weight and easy to carry while biking. I'm able to securely lock my bike while not in use and don't have to worry about it getting stolen while running my errands.

This is a great bike lock... well, at least I think it's a great lock because my $5k bike hasn't been stolen! However, it's surprisingly difficult to close and lock. The U portion doesn't go fully into the locking mechanism cleanly, so it takes some jiggling and futzing until the key finally turns and locks the unit. Once it's locked, though, I feel secure that thieves will choose an easier target than my bike.

Tengo el NY LS y ese lo uso solo cuando dejo la bici por periodos largos ya que es muy pesado pero muy difícil de abrir para amantes de lo ajeno. El mini es genial para todos los días, pesa approx 1kg pero no se siente en la mochila, la extension tiene una curva de aprendizaje, pero mi mejor tip es trata de buscar como asegurar el cuadro primero y luego metes el extensor a la llanta. Muy recomendable

Purchased the Kryptonite Evolution 7 with a 4 foot cable. Wasn't a good fit for my hybrid when trying to lock up the frame and both tires. Cable was just long enough to secure the front tire, but I couldn't lock my rear tire. So I returned the Evolution 7 for the Messenger Mini.The Kryptonite Messenger Mini is perfect. I can lock up the frame and rear tire of my bike to any bike rack. Adding a 7 foot Kryptonite cable from Amazon permitted me to secure my front tire. You want to buy this lock!

Comprato per proteggere la bici elettrica si è rivelato di buona fattura e, inoltre, attualmente in abbinamento all'acquisto è possibile avere insieme anche una polizza antifurto Kriptonite. Se ben ricordo il primo anno è gratuita. Io ho scelto l'estensione di 4 anni a 24 euro. Ho acquistato insieme al lucchetto anche un cavo in acciaio, sempre Kryptonite, che consente di includere le ruote nell'ancoraggio antifurto offerto dal Kryptonite Messenger mini.Ho rimosso, invece il Plus Wheel Extender Bicycle u-Lock, poco utile per dove fisso la bici.

I've already broken 1 of the two keys and I've not had this lock a week. I dropped one key down in the front disc brake, long story, but the key got cut in half, just like that. I think i'll be requesting my two free ones asap! I also find myself fiddling around with this thing for several minutes on end to get it opened up and to lock my bike. It's not clear which way to insert the key so I inevitably end up inserting it repeatedly, flipping it over each time, until I get the darn thing open. After all of that, I sure don't want to bother taking my front wheel off too so I just added a small cable for that, though I know that's not ideal. Anyway, one day I'll find my bike receipt and sign up for the protection plan....wish me luck. My bike is still there & that's its main job so I'd give it 3.5 stars if i could so going with 4. I'm riding ~6-10 miles one way to work so it's not too heavy to carry in my backpack.
