This part is better than harley oem. It's a a piece of aluminum thicker and stronger. The paint on mine is perfect. It's pretty unique and definitely looks better than the pictures on Amazon. Get it.

Panel looks great and it's sturdy..no issues installing..just remove old panel and stick new panel on...amazing quality

This is definitely sturdier (thicker) than factory and has a nice matte finish. Only complaint (minor), finish had some paint missing on edge. Luckily, I had some flat black paint to touch it up.
