HDMI 2.1, DP 1.4 HD Resolution

Note:
- Only when both your computer Graphics card, monitor and DP、HDMI cable support 8K then you can get 8K effect, so if you want the max resolution you have to check your devices first.
installation steps:
- 1. Insert the power adapter into the KVM ;
- 2. Plug the 2*HDMI cable and Displayport cable into the KVM switch and monitor;(Output)
- 3. 1). Connect PC1 Firstly(Input)
- Use 1 HDMI cable to connect the "HDMI IN 1 A" input interface and PC1 HDMI A output interface,
- Use 1 HDMI cable to connect the "HDMI IN 1 B" input interface and PC1 HDMI B output interface.
- Use 1 DP cable to connect the "DP IN1 C" input interface and PC1 DP C output interface.
- Use 1 "USB-a to USB-b" USB3.0 cable to connect the "USB IN 1" input interface and PC1 USB 3.0 interface.
- 2)Then, Connect PC2,PC3,and PC4 according too the connection steps of PC1.
- 4. Insert the mouse and keyboard into the KVM switch
- 5. If needed, you can connect a microphone and audio port
Note：
- 1. Most of the reasons why only one video output works is because of incorrect connection. Please make sure each PC has(1 DP cables+2 HDMI cable +1 USB cable) connect to the KVM.
- 2.If the input USB3.0 ports are not connected or connected incorrectly, the output USB device will not be recognized.
- 3. Note: DP/HDMI cables are not included
3 Display Modes
- Extended Display
- Mirrored Display
- Spliced Display
- If you are a designer or illustrator, you can use this mode to see the effect while working.
- 1)Extended mode can output 3 different screens and mirror mode can output 3 identical screens.Note：If your graphics card has a splicing screen function, you can use the splicing screen mode.
- 2) The requirement for this KVM to achieve a 3-screen display is that each PC you connect to has the capability to support a 3 screen display. This has nothing to do with KVM.
3 USB3.0 Ports
- USB 3.0 is compatible with USB3.0, and the data transmission speed can reach 5Gbps, while the data transmission speed of USB2.0 is only 480Mbps.
Supports separate audio and microphone output

Easy setup, it works with Macbook Pro M3 and older Macbook Pro i7 2015, switching between computer and sharing monitors are fast and easy!This configuration below works at first attempt!- 1 Macbook Pro M3, 1 Macbook Pro 2015, 1 Intel PC i7 7th gen- 1 KVM Switch with 2 DP and 1 HDMI. Currently only use this to share 2 monitors Dell UltraSharp 2K U2722D. Haven't setup USB 3 cable yet.- Each monitor configured with MST off, multi-sync off. One monitor using DP connecting to KVM DP output, the other using HDMI port connecting to KVM HDMI output. If possible, recommend using the highest speed cable available on the market.- Connect each computer HDMI -> HDMI KVM input port, DP port -> KVM input port.- MX v3 Mouse to share with 3 computers- Mx G915 to share with 2 computers, not sure how to share 1 keyboard with 3 computers just yet.This setup works like a charm!

Works great with an M1 Macbook Pro hooked up through a Cable Matters USB-C->HDMI 2.1 adapter + custom flash, the only way I've found (search macrumors forums) to get 4k120hz HDR over HDMI from an M1 Mac. It even works with a CalDigit TS4 docking station bridging thunderbolt between them.Now I just need more computers and monitors.

Ok...I wanted so bad to like this KVM switch. My computer and Monitor is capable of 144Hz and 3840 - 2160 resolution. My old KVM switch would only go to 3840 - 1080 and 120Hz. Also, my monitor would go black several times a day for about 5 seconds. So, when I saw this KVM advertised at 4K@144Hz, I was elated! I purchased and eagerly waited for the quick delivery.I was reading the instructions (Yes, I am that type), and my heart sank. The specifications clearly say that this KVM will only go to 60Hz on 4K and 8K. I included a picture of the specifications for you to see. I then went back to this listing and saw where they say that it will do 4K at 120Hz. So, which is it? Well, I will tell you that it will only go to 60Hz on 4K and nothing more. If I drop it down from 4K, I can get it up to 119Hz. What a huge disappointment and a waste of my time.If you were anticipating something magical and great, don't. Just don't. This new KVM works the same as my old one. THIS WILL BE A RETURNED FOR SURE. Bottom line: The title of this item is misleading and absolutely false. I read a lot of comments and don't recall anyone calling this seller out for misleading consumers.I am back to my hunt for a KVM that will support 4K @144Hz. Good luck all!

Couldn't give a 3.5 star and 4 was too much, forgive my 3 for that reason.This is the 2 DP and one HDMI 8K USB 3.0 KVM SWITCH 4x3Synopsis:This is a well-made unit and I do appreciate tools like these, it makes my world a lot simpler and efficient.Pros:The unit operates as it should switching between computers and it has a nice design that fits standing up and laying down. 8K at frequencies for video and watching television if you want to use it for that purpose. KVMs are not necessarily designed for gaming, so the refresh rates are best kept for PC or movies. The switch buttons are fair and the 3.0 USB ports are a plus giving the inability to find others that have 3.1 or even C style which I don't recommend for a KVM.Cons:The unit disconnects the monitors when switching between computers, meaning EDID (Extended Display Identification Data) is not included in the design, considered a flaw or error since the benefit of a KVM is to remain connected to the monitor at all times even if the screen is set for a different PC. This means that any items you may have on the switched screen moves over to the first monitor thus having to move them back when switching. The first PC port seems to have issues remaining connected to DP as I have had to remove the cable and then put it back. The other ports seem to work appropriately. There is a wired switch that you can place closer to the keyboard to switch between PCs, it does however lack the industry standard HOT KEY (I prefer scroll lock 2x + number + enter) sequence relying solely on the buttons on the panel or the wired switch.Unfortunately this is not for me as I would expect the KVM to maintain connectivity to the monitors even when switching which is a normal function of a KVM especially with 3 monitors. Without EDID having to move all open windows to the separate monitor screens each time it is switched is not efficient or pleasant. I like HOT KEY functions as I am quicker to hit keys than to reach my hand over to switch, however it is quite cool to have that. Last, the first port issue may simply be an issue with this particular switch and not a normal falicy.In review this is not for me, however I can see it purpose for other functions and uses. A 3.5 since I rely on 5 questions to suit regarding each and I again apologize for only being able to put 3 stars. Perhaps Amazon can have a 5-10 questions and base each point on satisfaction of each question to have a more accurate review.Thanks for reading.

I have had several KVM switches over the years and I am glad that manufacturers are finally making some that support triple monitors. In the past this was available for VGA, but thankfully we now have switches like this that support DisplayPort and HDMI.The picture quality is clear and I don't notice any difference when I run my video through this switcher compared to directly hooking up the monitor.

I like the dual monitor support. It just works. I had no problems with the windows rearranging when switching inputs. It does flicker from time to time for just a second but that’s the only negative.

Suuuper Hilfe fürs Home Office :) so brauche ich nicht ständig zwischen privat und beruflich umbauen. Richtig gut gefällt mir der Externe Wechsel Button. Schneller Wechsel, Kein Verlust an Bildqualität. Würde ich jedem empfehlen und selber wieder kaufen.

Après un déboire avec un autre produit de la même marque au même usage, j'ai commandé celui ci.Au départ on peut penser que le fait qu'il ne soit pas livré avec tous les câbles est un soucis. A l'arrivé on préfère ! Les câbles étant tjs trop long/trop court et de qualité ... variable.Aucun soucis d'installation tout marche parfaitement du premier coup.et le fait qu'il soit conçu avec des câbles trouvables n'importe où est gage de pérennité.Seul petit défaut, j'aurais aimé une troisième prise usb out à l’arrière pour la seconde prise usb de clavier. Mais bon brancher la seconde prise usb du clavier à l'usb out de devant marche très bien aussi.Autre soucis rencontré juste pour info mais qui n'a rien à voir avec le switch, j'ai un vieil écran en dvi et avec certain système le dvi va prendre le pas sur l'hdmi, donc l’écran de démarrage va passer sur l’écran dvi.
