Will Kwikset honor the same warranty as their doorknob sets? This item worked the first time as made to. I guess I wore the first one out as it was on the front door and gets gobs of use.

Expected better quality from Kwikset; I just replaced this hardware a year ago and it needs to be changed out again! The complete hardware set we had originally purchased for the door didn't last much longer than this either. Unfortunately, it has been difficult to find another brand that fits the cutouts in the door.
