This is my second set of KYB GR2s for this application. The Gen III Camry doesn't have many high quality damper choices due to its age. KYB delivers. 👌 🙏My first set of KYBs made it 10-12 years on this car. Bought the Camry 7/2009, redid the entire suspension & steering @ ~175k miles circa 11/2010. ALL of it. Every mount, bushing and wear item....Went back and did this again @ ~255k miles since things were starting to creak, clump and thump a lot. Here is what I found on the recent overhaul:The KYB struts are outlasting the strut mounts they work with. Pops and clunks are from worn sway bar links and tired strut mounts. The struts are living long and prospering!I did side by side compression and rebound tests on the old and new strut and they were very comparable.Replaced all the major service items for thew rear suspension, including the springs this time. The true reward was the post-repair test drive after:On stock Camry springs, these KYBs were divine. Seriously good. For over a decade....The most recent set is performing equally well with H&R Sport springs (I wanted something stiffer than stock, didn't care about lowering).IF YOU DO THIS REPAIR (or hire a mechanic)...Make SURE you purchase all the supporting pieces from a quality brand when you do this job:New strut mounts, bellows (boots), bump-stops, lower (rubber) spring isolators, and if you haven't done so already...new sway bar links and bushings. All of these will be worn out if and when your struts have failed.Do it once, and do it right. Collect on the labor savings by replacing overlapping items. My old car is TIGHT, quiet and responsive again.Let me know if this review helped you at all. ❤️ ✌️ 🍺

Both 334133 and 3342 34 were inside the box on its own without any thing securing it in place. It looks like the seating for the spring pierce through the box during shipping. The struts is good. Installed in my Toyota no problem.

Installed on a 1999 Toyota Camry LE V6 with custom GP No Sag Springs. Only confusing part was to find a Bump Stop and installing that. Overall, No Major Issues.

All the holes/threads are located exactly same as my OEM strut. So, installation went without any issue. The strut looks well made and feel solid..

The manufacturer claims a ride better than the original. I replaced all four at the same time and was a little disappointed. The KYB shocks don't seem to react as quickly as the factory shocks, and the ones in the rear seem to not support a load as well as the original struts.
