These are good replacement struts. Just expect to restore suspension don’t expect to improve it. They feel a little harsh at first until they break in. Now the vehicle rides smoother through same streets as before.

This is a very high quality strut but..you really need to know how to install struts and be prepared for a big job. If available, I suggest that you buy a complete unit with a spring already attached that includes the bearing and top piece.

These are great I believe the ride was improved over the factory ride the vehicle rides so well now I cannot believe I waited so long to get it.

I purchased these because I have had them in the past. I also purchased some of the KYB strut mount and bearings. I installed these as I have many others. They worked great. So why the poor review?I live in Oregon where it is a modest climate of 80 degrees or so in early summer. I left to go to Idaho and Utah and when we got into 105 degree temps the darn things started getting creaky when I turned. In the morning they were fine but as soon as the temps got into the high 80s and above they would creak in unison every time I turned the wheel left or right. It sounds/feels like a hard rubber rubbing up against a smooth surface. The rubber grips and then releases causing a little creak. It does this relentlessly and gets worse the hotter it becomes. I haven't had the time to investigate but based on the struts and strut mounts both being New KYB parts I am giving it a low rating for the noise. I don't believe it to be anything else in the van because the noise didn't occur until after replacement of the struts and bearings. It is possible it is the KYB bearing but it is impossible to tell. The ride quality is great despite the creaking.
