Was stiff both sides and 2 months after got a little softer never just right now banging on every bump. Yes time has passed but when both sides are doing the same thing I cannot help but to wonder. Are these new or refurbished somehow. I put these in and should of known by how stiff they were from the start. This is unreal for KYB. I hate to post this but I need new struts again.

Worn out struts were causing tire cupping and road noise, these KYB's solved the issue. Installation is pretty easy, I would recommend backing the top nut off just past the nylon lock portion before compressing the springs when removing the old struts. When installing the new assembly it helps to angle the wheel assembly out and stick a screwdriver in the bottom bolt hole once you lift the new strut assembly in place, then you can use the screwdriver to apply leverage to align the top hole and get the bolt in.

Excellent quality.I seem to pick KYB over any other shocks! ( I have also used Bilstein, Koni and others)Used KYB on BMW, Toyota and Honda! On a toyota, had replaced factory ones with KYB, they lasted over 200,000 kms and going strong.

I like the cost and the ease of installation. If you have the right tools it’s a breeze. The ride is comparable to own but a little smoother and handles well in the corners. Nothing I dislike yet.

I got them to fit and they installed easy enough. The ride is noticably improved and they seem to perform well. overall I am happy with the struts but the correct part number for the 2007 civic 2 door coupe is 339207.

Seems to be good struts, I ordered the set and they sent two driver's side struts. Brakeline wouldn't route correctly didn't realize until car wouldn't stop and inspected to find tire rubbed a hole in the line. Replaced the brake line and zip tied it out of the way.

I choose the KYB Excel-G shocks and struts based off of recommendations from various Honda Civic forms. The price was right, a third the price that Honda quoted me for factory replacements. Ride is smooth and slightly firmer than what I remember when my 2006 Honda Civic LX rolled off the lot. I only have a month on these struts but expect them to last as long or longer then the factory parts they replaced. One recommendation is to do a four wheel alignment after replacing your suspension components. I am not a mechanic by trade but have been told repeatedly by various mechanics to have your wheels aligned after suspension and tire replacements.
