I have installed these shocks front and rear on my 99 Honda prelude for about a year with only a few thousand miles not them. I’m very disappointed that the quality of these shocks are so poor. In the beginning I thought mabey they just need to get broken in but after a year with only a few thousand miles they ride worst. They feel like they no longer absorbing any shock and the car is bouncing like crazy. I can feel every imperfection in the road. It’s hard to believe that a well established brand like kyb would sell poor quality shocks like this. I read many good reviews about these shock before I decided to purchase them. Many people describe these as being simular to oem or just a bit firmer. This is not the case and not even close. I have used cheap branded shocks like staggs and sen sen that rides way beter then these. Which leads me to wonder if I got a defective set? Well it’s hard to imagine all 4 to be defective. Doing some research I find that there are fake kyb shocks being sold as the real kyb. Can these be fake kybs? I don’t know what to do at the moment but very upset at the ride quality. This is worst then what they were before I changed them. After suffering the lost for what I paid for these and also alignment I’m hesitant on what to do next. What a nightmare!

I love the reaction and stiffer feel of KYB struts. Makes the car seem more planted in my opinion and reduced body roll compared to some high brands. have these on 4 vehicles and so far my family loves them.

Chose these as a replace my for my sons 2000 Prelude. The ones we were replacing were beyond shot. I installed with a new set of lowering springs and it handles beautifully now. Definitely met my expectations.
