These shocks are slightly stiffer than stock, and boy does that feel good!

I don't remember how old the last set of shocks were but they were pretty much shot. The truck has 280,000 miles on it and additional leaf springs. The new shocks calmed down the ride considerably.

They seem to ride better than my KYB gas-a-just but I replaced leaf springs at the same time.I used them on a 2.25" RSK kit on my 97 F250 with super duty axles and X code springs. You have to use the steel sleeve in the upper bolt hole in the new shocks.

These are for a truck that is lifted 2 to 4 inches. Bought them for my 1990 Bronco and took them to my mechanic who informed me that they are for a lifted truck.

significantly stiffer than a rancho shock or the stock replacements. It made a significant improvement going through potholes in Spokane.

so far i have put these on 2 of my vehicles, an SUV and a heavy duty truck. they stiffen the ride of the vehicle some but i feel like thats a good thing.
