The Gas-a-Just is available as an OE monotube replacement and as an OE twin-tube performance upgrade. The KYB Gas-a-Just has two separate working chambers: An air-free hydraulic piston and valve area for responsiveness & control, and a second high-pressure nitrogen gas area with a floating piston that provides a comfortable ride during normal driving and adds instant performance on demand.

I've used KYB shocks on many vehicles, these didn't let me down in any way. They fit as they are intended and are superior in every way to OEM and most replacements you can buy.

Greatly improved ride and comfort over stock shocks. Stops vehicle from bouncing after bumps and stops diving while braking and turning. Very easy to install. If you remove the spare tire before install it makes things a lot simpler. Will purchase again for other vehicles. Purchased with matching front shocks.

Best decision to make after researching options. Minimal loss to ride comfort while providing greatly increased performance over OEM shocks. Eliminated brake dive, wheel hop and quite a bit of body roll -- stiffer for towing (camper). Debated these against the Bilsteins and very glad I went with these. Admitted cost savings but the Bilsteins would have been harsher on ride quality. These are quality upgrades over OEM.2009 Chrysler Aspen 5.7L Hemi w/ Tow Package

Bought these for my 2008 Chrysler Aspen. Less than half the price of what I could buy the same brand local. Bolted right up.

After much research reading reviews on shocks for my Dodge Durango I selected the KYB's and glad I did. They were everything I was hoping for. Nice firm controlled ride without being harsh, I replaced all 4, this model number is for the rear. What a difference from my old worn out stock shocks. This is my first time using KYB's and glad I chose them.

Found out parts were wrong after removing old shocks and having the durango up on the lift at 9:00 at night . Had to run into town to Auto Zone that stays open till 10:00 . Needless to say we were PO'd.

I bought the shocks for my 2005 Dodge Durango, and they work as advertised. They did look a lot different than the stock ones on there, but they fit and bolted right up.The ride quality is great, a little stiffer than the stock set up, but they make handling much better. I haven't taken them off road yet, but once I do, I will update this review.

I bought these for my Dodge Durango. I often go off road in Colorado and so wore out the factory shocks. I did not want to spend big dollars for competition type shocks and so was looking for something more aggressive than stock but not expensive. KYB is the only maker that makes one for me. Higher gas pressure than OEM makes them stiffer and raised the height of my truck just over 1/2". Cost was right in between stock and Competition. And they installed and fit perfect.
