Not much left to the old shocks due to New Hampshire winters. My Tracker needed new shocks for a while now and these worked great and were easy to install.

This is my first KYB product and I couldn’t be happier with it. I had purchased two of these to install in my 2001 Suzuki Grand Vitara. Incase anyone didn’t read the description, it’s one shock per order so if you need two you have to order Qty of 2. With that being said, for the inexpensive price it is listed at I was not disappointed at all with what I got. Not a single piece that I needed for the installation was missing. Each product comes inside a sealed box ( you are probably reading this and wondering why I’m going on about the sealed product. Well I read reviews on other products and customers were posting horror stories about receiving pre-opened boxes, washers and bolts missing), everything wrapped and sealed including all your nuts rubber stoppers and washers. The shocks are metal not cheap plastic or aluminum, did a magnet test just to see the material it was made of incase anyone was interested in that fact. It’s sturdy and not cheap. It’s an actual product of Japan as well, not made in China incase that fact is important to you as a consumer. Fits my car perfectly and so far after driving on them I haven’t had an issue. *Be aware though, the instructions come in Japanese only, NO English Instructions included. But, you can just youtube installation instructions if you feel you need them. I take my Grand Vitara litterally everywhere and these shocks can handle the stress so I highly recommend them to my fellow consumers. But as I said before it was a fairly simple installation on my car. Probably took only 30 minutes to install both rear shocks so not bad at all.

Great replacement of the stock shocks. I use this car for medium loads on mostly fair-good gravel roads. There is no bottoming or jumping. They are a bit stiff when used on good paved roads with light loads. I would buy again.

Well, another great experience with KYB. I've put their Gas-a-Just shocks on quite a few vehicles over the years. They always perform well & last long. In fact, I've never worn a set out....I just eventually sell the vehicle with them still on it & working great.Last year I put their KYB Quick Strut & rear shocks on our 2000 Sable FWD wagon - great result, nice dampening, firm handling - not too firm to make a noisy ride.If you're looking for Biltstein / Koni super stiff, these may not satisfy. But they're significantly more precise & long lasting than ANY oem shock.On our 2000 Tracker 4x4, the rear shocks were toast (surprisingly, the oem front struts are still OK), perhaps because this little SUV is full time rear wheel drive, and that's where the action occurs.In any case, the rear end would float dangerously around, and removing those original, 13 year old, 130k miles dead shocks & replacing them with these made a night / day difference.Now the rig handles securely - in fact, with a front alignment & new tires, downright sporty. We load this up with a hitch rack & 4 occupants, and the ride is perfect.These shocks are usually only a few dollars more than the 'main' other choice, Monroe, but I believe, a higher quality choice.Keep up the good work KYB.....

I put them on my 1998 suzuki sidekick sport jx and love them. I new they be abit stiff being a mono tube shock but I wanted them that way because I set it up for towin around a trailer and four wheeler plus mono tube shocks are a better off road shock for when the road ends. The only thing I noticed is how badly I need front struts now, the front struts smash into the bumbs and the rear shocks just glides over them. Also the rear shocks are glued to the road now as the front strurts roll into the turns so I will be ordering new struts hear soon threw amazon because of the easy ordering and No hassel returns incase I ordered the wrong part or if there is an issue with a product, as for the kyb mono tube shocks I love them and they fit my needs but if your not going to be towin or off roading they will make the ride a little stiffer then you may want but I'm sure in time they will slowly soften up.

I found it hard to choose for my "Chevrolet Tracker" shock absorbers. I did not want to risk money, but Amazon.com has helped me in this. I chose the product and got it safely and in good form. There it was stated delivery time 5 to 10 days. Of course this time I delivered, but to a maximum of ten day periods. basically I'm satisfied. This product is good, service also good.
