Put these silver KYB's on the rear of a little 2x4 half ton Ford Peecup. When I first put these on I thought I'd screwed up, pretty stiff over bumps. Thought I should have got the Blackies. I got the Silvers because I have a tool box with maybe 150lbs. of stuff in it plus I occasionally pull maybe 4000lbs with a tandem axle trailer. I'm used to the Silvers now but will buy the black struts for up front when I have time to do them.

After 40 yrs in automotives and having sold all the major brands for STANDARD passenger light truck applications I ONLY use KYB on my personal rides. An added plus is the prices offered here are a big savings over paying retail at the parts store..

Look great matching the color. I have a two inch lift so it made it ruff I’m sure if I it wasn’t lifted it would be a great product.

I've used KYB shocks before on other vehicles so I knew they were a really good product. This one for my F150 installed very easily (as advertised) and is performing just as I expected. It's just a little more "stiff" that the original equipment, which is just how it's advertised. I'm very, very pleased with this purchase.

Put these on my 2005 F150 with 180,000 miles. They came with everything necessary to install, bushings, bolts, etc... Had just spent $900 on new tires, so needed new shocks and struts, since the factory shocks were toast. All I can say is wow. I bought this truck new, and haven't experienced this kind of performance from it since new! I now have a camper shell on the back, and the old rear shocks were over worked. The stance is like when I bought it almost 12 years ago, even with the camper shell, the handling and drivability is as new. If your truck is tired and down, put a new set of these on it, and you will be pleased with the results!

This in on an '05 2WD F150. Seams to perform better than stock. My beef is they do not include bushings to prevent the shock from moving side-to-side on the mounting bolts(like stock). I wanted this to be a 10 minute install and not have to make another trip to the store or fight to press out rubber from the old shocks to use here. So of course I just threw them on an now they make hella noise going down the road.... And I'll have to source the mystery bushings and get back under the truck. Won't buy this brand again. Save time and buy something else.
