Replacement on F80 Yamaha. Old regulator putting out 17-18v at RPMs above 1000. Put on this replacement and voila -- 13.8-14.1v perfect regulation!For three uses.On my 4th trip, as soon as I started the engine voltage was 16-17v, even at low RPM. Rises to 18+ at 3600 RPM.So go ahead and buy one if you like taking the front of the engine apart a lot. Otherwise, don't bother with this one.

This part just barely fit would be better if it wasn’t so square and radiused on the corners had a little trouble fitting it in place so far it seems to be doing the job got the part within two days appreciate it
