It was not inexpensive and should be!Whoever design this piece was just thinking about making more money!Unfortunately lack of imagination and proper fitment.I did not returned it because got broken by me attempting to modify fitment to my filter - that way so will stay on it not slide from it all the time.Could be good cover but is not!P.S. overlaps are to short for covering the filter and this cover is design for this two filters.What a bummer!

our original skimmer lid was damaged in a wind storm and they don't sell them separately. Luckily stumbled on this as an option. This works great however it does hang over the edges (sides 1" each; front about 4") but it does look better than the original.

Not sure why the stock skimmer doesn't have a camo-lid, but this sure makes it look better in the landscape of the pond

Very Nice though very expensive.. Has a great look to it compared to pipes and septic covers views... I wish they were cheaper

I got this for my PowerFlo 5000 skimmer. The dark green cover of the skimmer is an eye sore and this cover is certainly better. But, it is actually a dark grey with very little color variation. This makes it look fairly unrealistic and it sticks out like a sore thumb around my pond which is surrounded by a light grey stone. Nevertheless, I'd rather look at this thing than the skimmer cover. I'll be looking into painting it to match the surround landscape better.
