This is the perfect ball to use without poolside basketball goal. I chose the one that is size 6, which is slightly smaller than a mens regulation-size basketball. Our poolside hoop is regulation size, so this ball that is slightly smaller goes in easily and is also a little easier to grip with wet hands. After all, pool basketball is all about having fun, and if the game is made too difficult, that takes away some of the fun. Another thing I like about this ball is the green and white colors. This might sound silly, but this ball just looks good in our pool compared to an orange one. The green and white sections coordinate in nicely with the blue shades in our pool tile and the blue color of the water. I am all about our pool area being an oasis and this green ball does its part to contribute to that look and feel. The ball inflates easily. It is not swimming season at the moment, so we haven't been able to put the ball through a test of daily, I am happy with its look and a couple of test performances.

The ball has a solid, hefty feel, it doesn’t seem like it’ll pop or wear out anytime soon. It’s made of thick rubber, my kids drag it out of the pool to toss around on the trampoline or bounce it on the patio. The white color with some bright accents looks summery. The surface has these little textured bumps, so it’s not super slippery when it’s wet, when the kids are splashing and throwing it around. The included hand pump is simple to use, I had the ball inflated in a couple of minutes.On the plus side, it’s been durable. We’ve used it for weeks, and I haven’t needed to add more air yet. It’s softened a bit, but it’s still plenty playable. My kids like it for pool games, and it’s the right size for their hands. The grip makes it easier for them to catch and throw.But the ball can feel a little heavy, it's valuable and just more like the regular basketball. Also, while the pump works fine, it’s kind of flimsy plastic, so I’m careful not to let the kids mess with it too much.

Just insert the thimble into the basketball hole and use the yellow pump to inflate.😏It’s a regular basketball with a grippy rubber surface, also suitable for playing outside the pool too—smaller than a standard size 7.The green size 6 pool ball bounced on the water’s surface when I tossed it in, and the little one grinned from ear to ear.😂My daughter can’t swim yet but still reached for the ball—dad’s got this! Out of the pool, we played on the concrete.I taught her to dribble. The "thump-thump" echoed sharply against the hard surface, and the ball had great bounce. A simple thing, but it made the day unforgettable.

We loved this pool basketball hoop! It’s way bigger than I expected, and the solar LED lights make it super fun to play at night. My kids and I use it almost every day, and having two balls and a pump included was a big plus. It was easy to set up and feels really sturdy. Perfect for family fun!”

Love our new basketball net! Great sturdy base to avoid the net being tipped over into the pool. Was easy to put together and move around the pool. My kids love it already and can’t wait to use it at night with the LED lights! Easy to clean, lots of fun! Perfect addition to our pool!
