I bought these for my elderly mother who lives in assisted living. She loves to read and does not want to disturb her roommate with bright lights when she reads in the evening. While I usually get rechargeable items for myself, she prefers batteries. She adores these and even will daily use, has not had to replace the batteries yet after more than a month. 2 units are included in the package and they are a great value. Adjustable settings are great.
